Transforming a seasonal bestseller into a brand icon.
We partnered with Marketing to transform Gynger from a holiday hero product into a year-round brand platform, bringing together copy, photography, and design into a cohesive system that scaled from campaign creative to e-commerce.
The Opportunity
Gynger consistently performed as a bestseller, but for years it was marketed primarily through holiday campaigns. The opportunity was to evolve it from a seasonal gifting story into a year-round brand icon. As Adore Me introduced a refreshed visual identity, it created the perfect moment to reimagine how one of the brand's most recognizable products was presented.
From Product to Identity.
Although categorized as a bra, Gynger had all the qualities of lingerie. We saw an opportunity to reframe Gynger to elevate it into something more emotional and aspirational, shifting the conversation from product features to identity, confidence, and self-expression.
Together with Marketing, we brought that idea to life through the flexible platform: "This isn't a bra. It's..."The framework transformed product attributes into identities, creating a foundation that could evolve across future campaigns, categories, and partnerships.
The Bow Became the Visual System.
Historically, Gynger was photographed as a finished product—perfectly styled and neatly tied. By shifting the focus to the act of tying and untying the bow, we transformed a product detail into a recognizable brand cue. Combined with confident, intentional posing, the gesture became a symbol of confidence and agency.
What began as a campaign idea evolved into a new visual system for the product. The visual language was extended across a complete reshoot of Gynger's e-commerce photography, while Adore Me's refreshed branding reinforced its shift from seasonal launch to evergreen franchise.
